i'd like to first thank you for your support and clear information during gonu. you really helped us feel much more aware of what was happening.
and now what??? the reality of death should not make one drown in sorrow, but should make one stand proud and breathe deeply (feel the air in your lungs - it's real, it's now). people are like flowers, you must appreciate them while you have them, because in an instant they can disappear forever. but this is true of you too: take advantage of the life in you; live life - don't just watch it from the sidelines. seize your education with both hands and revel in it. as a palestinian friend's father said 'they can take everything you've got: your clothes, your house, your things. but they can never take your education - you will always have what you know'.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your uplifting words. But it's all easier said than done.
It'll take time - that I have to admit.
