enquiry made to Film City Oman

Last night, before the havoc of disruptive Internet services that had the whole online nation at a standstill, I had sent an enquiry to the Film City Oman - the owners behind Al Shatti Plaza through their email contact on their website, asking about whether they would be able to bring Rush Hour 3 by this week.

I got the reply today in the following format (names have been erased to protect the identities):

Dear Mr. [censored],

Kindly note that "Rush Hour" will be releasing by the end of this month at
Al Shatti Plaza. We shall post the exact date on the website in a week's

But... why can't they get it on the day of the wide release, if not two days earlier just like how they did with some movies like The Simpsons, Pirates of Caribbean and Spiderman 3. :-s

i think that it is in their grasp to bring it in earlier than it should be. and after seeing the website today - tuesday - and seeing the list of movies they're showing i just know they could have done a lot better than a cartoon, an indian movie and an arabic movie and the finally installation of a trilogy that has gone too far
