Ramadhan 13th September .. astronomically speaking

It's been announced that Ramadhan would fall on Thursday, 13th September of this year according to astronomical bearings taken by scientists.

Hopefully, this time around we would stick to one date across the whole Arab & Islamic world instead of fooling ourselves and then stating that we 'never saw the crescent'.

You know, I'm a lucky person.. I was really afraid that Ramadan would fall on the 12th of September, because on the 12th of September I'm doing a very important test which will last for 4 hours and a half. This test needs ALL MY ATTENTION & CONCENTRATION, and the result of the test will determine whether I'm going to do my higher education in the US or not.

It is an international test and will be from 3pm till 7.30pm. If that was in Ramadan, I would've faced a very big problem in doing the test! Thank God now Ramadan will either be the 13th or 14th of September!

I agree with you and say In Sha Allah Ramadhan begins on the same day and we celebrate Eid on the same day too. It is starting to get really really really ridiculous.
