TimesofOman.com: Customer is king? Not quite.

The latest article for the Times of Oman website has just been published and I think that most Omanis will understand what I am talking about from the first few lines of the topic.

However, I will leave the opinion to you.

But as always, let me know what you think about the article and suggestions that should be put forth should be in the form of constructive criticism.

I have to say that I had a little laugh when I read the line: "I'm not pointing fingers here...". But you are absolutely right...the customer should always be a main priority in ANY business. They are the lifeblood of a company...they ARE the income. Customer service is a new concept to so many people...yet we expect it. It's an evolving process, but we need to get on the ball with a quickness. In my experience, people will always remember the company that, not only provides excellent customer service, but the one that goes the "extra mile" just for the customer. It seems we are still trying to master the basics of customer service. By the way, is this the end of your plight?

If you're asking me whether this will stop me from complaining at the said 'company' - then my answer would be a definite: 'NO'. Simply because of the reason that unless I see results then you will always hear me bickering on and on and on.

:o)

Don't stop until you get what you want. To say that your complaining is boring is a VERY mediocre statement. Mediocraty is for the weak and ignorant. We are better than that.
