You all remember that post that I published a few days ago about the tragic accident that happened here in Muscat and how two young boys in their teenage years had lost their lives due to a freak road accident from using quad bikes on city streets without the proper protective gear.
In relation to this issues, I got an email asking me to sign a petition that would ask the proper authorities in the Sultanate of Oman to endorse a law that would help avoid such similar tragedies in the near and far future.
I urge every single one of you who feels strongly about this issue to take the time to sign the online petition below and to pass on this address to all those who you think it concerns if you are concerned about the well being of your family and relatives.

There is already a law by ROP prohibiting the use of these "vehicles" on asphalted roads and on beaches.

But it's not enforced, unfortunately just like many other traffic laws.
