SQU Open Day

Information has been passed onto me about an Open Day gathering at the Sultan Qaboos University, here in the Sultanate of Oman on the 10th of May, 2007.

The open day will have many participants from various countries around the world such as the United States of America; the United Kingdom; several Arab countries and other countries that the Sultanate enjoys neighborly relationship along with. Since the Sultan Qaboos University is hosting this even, it is only normal to keep in mind that, it, too, shall have a stall there, too.

Each participant will have items to be sold from their country or possibly show their culture or even heritage or tradition or anything else from their country.

The said open day will be held between 5pm until night-time (I was given the time, but forgot what it was - so will update this post later) at the Sports Arena at the Sultan Qaboos University.

For more information, please call the Sultan Qaboos University phone number: +968 24141111.
(while all possible effort has been focused to have the information in this post correct to the time of posting, the writer shall not be held responsible for any un-notified changes in the programme or functions in this here open day. Thus, I regret any incovenience, if any, in advance.)

I might be participating in this open day of SQU.

Every year we have a smal International Night in the staff club of SQU, I've written about this year's on my blog in March. This year the university want to make a bigger international night that ALL the university should participate in; will be something big and official, unlike the one we always have in the staff club.

If I ever get the time to participate - although, highly unlikely - I'll take the time to look you up and meet up, inshallah.

:o)
